Conventional education still prepares students for the past. Diplomas no longer give economic security, and most traditional forms of human labor are being outsourced in real-time. The way we teach our kids hasn’t caught up to this and is trapped in an increasingly distant past.

Our children will graduate into a new epoch of history - the AI age. The skills and tools of the 20th century won’t help them, and if that’s all we’ve given them, they will be in big trouble. They will need future skills to survive: a mastery of cutting edge tools and the adaptiveness to use them in ways they’ve never been used before. 

Humanity has entered uncharted territory, and all of the old manuals for how to survive and thrive no longer apply. Our children must be so creative and achieve such great mastery of tools that they can adapt to conditions we can’t even yet imagine. They must be ready for challenges we can’t even predict. This takes radical creativity.
